Where is the Shed located?

Is there a car park?
Yes. Kings Heath Park car park, Vicarage Road entrance. The address is: Vicarage Road, Kings Heath, Birmingham, B14 7TQ. Parking is free.

Can I store my project at the Shed?
Yes – very small projects can be stored on site. However, lack of space means that storage is limited.

How much does it cost to attend the Shed?
Annual membership for the Shed is £25. There is a £2 fee for wood and metal workshops.
And a £3 fee for mosaics, glass and art workshops.

How do I become a member of the Shed?

Do I need to bring my own materials?
Some materials are available as we are keen to recycle, but some projects will require you to provide your own. You’ll be informed in advance of what that will be.

Are tools provided?
Yes, tools are provided.

Is protective equipment provided?
Goggles and gloves are available, but please bring your own masks and aprons.

What footwear is suitable to wear at workshops?
If they’re whole (not open toe/sandals) and comfortable, most footwear is suitable.
